Friday and Saturday - Ouch!

So this week got totally jacked up (thanks, nameless insurance company that refuses to make reasonable offers). The running schedule got a little out of whack and had to be readjusted. Oops? I guess I have to be flexible though with the whole being a professional thing.

Anyways, I ran the full 2 miles on Friday and it hurt but wasn't too awful. However, my body seems to have forgotten how to sweat more than usual and I turned purple and couldn't cool off. Awful! Today was way worse though, I was supposed to run two miles again but I've been having bad sinus drainage problems. You don't want to know what happens when you run with an upset stomach. Very very bad. I managed to do half a mile before I had to stop to prevent physical illness and then did two more 1/4 miles. I had to stop at a mile because it was too awful. I did however, move to the bike and ride at level 9 fairly hard for 13 minutes. My heart rate was 170 but I did finally start sweating a little bit which is way good!

My next run is Monday 1.5 miles. I am going to work for more speed since I managed to do the two miles. I just hope that Saturday's problem won't hold me back for the 2.5 miles I have to hit next Saturday.
